FIXED WING UAV TRAINING MODULE
Overview
Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) is an aircraft with no pilot on board. They can be flown using a remote control by a pilot at a ground control station or can fly autonomously by a pre-programmed flight plan. UAVs are classified in two categories, fixed wing and rotary wing. This training module would be on fixed wing UAV and you will learn how to build, fly, and operate a UAV while being safe at the same time.
Safety Operations
Safety is priority. In this training module, we will guide you on how to build, fly, and operate a UAV safely. We will also teach you the safety guidelines from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines.
Activities
The activities page would guide you on how to build, fly, and operate a UAV. It consists of the basic flight dynamics, flight controls, assembly of the UAV, and calibration. You can also learn about flight simulation using PhoenixRC and can experience how to fly a a fixed wing UAV. Way points would also be taught here in the activities page.
